The All Progressives Congress (APC), on Wednesday held a rally in Abuja tagged “Salvation Rally”.
Chief John Oyegun, National Chairman of the APC, described it as a warning rally. He also led chieftains and members of the party to occupy the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters Louis Edet House in Abuja.
Chief Oyegun mentioned that the party is disturbed by the level of insecurity in Nigeria; manipulation of the Permanent Voters Card, PVC, issuance process in APC-controlled states as well as the current dwindling state of the nation’s economy.
Among the party Chieftains at the rally were General Mohammed Buhari, APC Presidential aspirant; Rotimi Amaechi, Rivers State Governor; Dr Ogbonaya Onu, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, National Publicity Secretary; Senator Magnus Abe; Mallam Nasir El-Rufai; Dino Melaye; and Honorable Femi Gbajabiamila.
