Speak Up: How To Realize Sustainable Development – Daniel Otieno

“A fundamental aspect in realizing sustainable development is education for all. It must be appreciated that through the free primary education in Kenya many children who could not afford have now been able to access education.However the growing population has come with its challenges towards realizing education for all. These challenges include inadequate facilities that include classes and materials, inadequate teachers, few trained teachers and poor parental in involvement in enrolling children in school. There is therefore need to come up with policies to ensure legal consequences for parents who fail to enroll children in school as education is free and compulsory, involvement of private sector to support free primary education, capacity building for teachers in semi urban schools and provision of enough infrastructure that include learning space and material”
