Diary of a Lagos Commuter: Uncooperative Passenger

That moment when you think a passenger wants to alight only to find out she is on a call! Her conversation was so loud that the driver thought she said ‘o wa’ and stopped. As if that was not enough, she pulled a drama when she eventually got to her bus stop- she refused to alight. As with the usual attitude of a typical commuter, we became impatient oblivious of what had transpired between the driver and the lady. We heard the driver say “save my time and get down abeg”. She didn’t bulge. I asked the driver to hand her 50naira change so she could get down. The driver replied that he has given her but she wanted to pay 30naira. All of us at the same time just booed her off the tricycle.
