Diary Of A Lagos Commuter: The Resilience

I was in a bus on my way to Ogba [an area in Lagos]. There was heavy traffic as usual– all of a sudden we heard an exclamation… A man’s carry-on bag containing raw food had dropped spilling its content (imagine that scene on a wet ground). He was running to meet up with someone. The beautiful thing however was the way he encouraged himself! “You this rice, I will still run o” he said. Everyone who heard burst into laughter!
