Community Watch: When Civil Servants Go On Strike

I took some shots yesterday at the Jos Terminus Market. The two weeks old strike embarked upon by civil servants in the Plateau state is already taking its toll.

Refuse dumps litter the whole market- at various junctions, streets and what-have-you.

The stench is unbearable, no thanks to the rains.

…but then, for the community, it is business as usual– no stench can stop our businesses.
